Ogichitaa Den - Zoongizi Ode Inc

Ogichitaa Den Youth Council is geared towards helping youth facing difficulties in today's society. Youth aging out of care, youth in care, youth who are needing help with mental wellness, and self-identity.

We help these youth by providing advocacy, training, cultural teachings and by simply just having a safe space for them within ourselves.

We get together twice a month at Turtle Island for youth council meetings during Zoongizi Ode's Wednesday's at Turtle Island.

As often as we can we also do outings with the youth.

Every year we host our annual Suicide prevention Conference that focuses on well being. We have speaker's come and speak to the youth on the same struggles they also faced and how they came above it.
